Re: Parmak Wind Chargers
Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. Researching the early wind companies is almost as fun as hunting the machines.

Re: WindPower 2.5kw pictures
Great pictures Jim, thanks for sharing. I’ve heard a few stories about Roland Coulson and his amazing wind generator collection. Heard he kept hand guns and live hand grenades strategically located in his shop. Also heard about him hunting down guys from Arkansas that stole some machines from him. S...

NOS 32V Wincharger on eBay
A very nice NOS early 32V Wincharger. Looks like a 650W ca 1939. Hopefully it goes to a museum.

Re: Help ID a vaneless windmill

Re: Help ID a vaneless windmill
Thanks for the input. If it is a Diplex, did it have a counter weight other than the governor weight I see? If so what shape would it have been? Thanks

Help ID a vaneless windmill
I was visiting a wind gen friend today and amongst the 100 or so wind generators he had one water pumper. Any thoughts on the manufacturer? Thanks

Unfortunately their weight made them targets for scraping which is why so few exist today. Yes, this one is 32V, 110V dc was also available. With enough wi...
