That is exactly what the structure of my windmill looks like and I now see where the spring should be attached.
My other question was. Where does the the rope, chain attach to operate the brake?

I want to know where the spring from the tail attaches to the housing? Also where the brake lever is and what can be connected to operate it/ A rope a steel shaft(rod) and then where does that attach at the bottom, just on the tower? Does this brake control the speed or just stop it ? What annual ma...
