Okay the single hole in my Bell Hub was so you could get at the oil hole on top of the snout under the Hub.

Peter that hole in the side of the Hub is that an oil access hole? My transition Bell Hub has one but my other two don't.

Does that bearing bar say Argentina on it? Is that an Argentina Aermoter mill ?

Also check the mast nut hole and pump rod for wear if the pump rod is too sloppy inside the nut you'll loose oil.

Michael what I've done in the past to take the hoop off is with the wheel at the bottom out of the way i took a small block of oak against the hoop and took a hammer and hit up against the block to knock the hoop off. Windy has done way more than me and probably has a better way.
