Re: Challenge Steel Project

Dandy measures at 15 1/4 won't work. I guess you'll have to find a challenge steel one.

Re: Star 24 windmill

If it's complete in good condition it could go for 2000. From what i saw on this forum under for sale. Just my opinion !!

Re: Challenge Steel Project

I'm not sure if a challenge steel tailbone hinge is the same as a dandy but it would be easier to get a dandy hinge probably if it will work. When you get a chance measure the distance between the two hinge ears " inside" and let me know. Thanks Dan.

Re: New Member from Lapeer County, Michigan!

Welcome to the forum Asa. The model 24 was F and W first oil bath as far as I know. Well built and not to bad to work on either.

Re: Aermotor engines

I've seen them go for as little as 1,500 here in NY. All depends on where you live.

Re: Challenge Steel Project

WOW Linda what a beautiful mill and great restoration. I like the idea of the metal and wood combination. That has to be a rare Mill i have no literature on it and couldn't find any. Very nice and thank you. Dan
