Re: Kevin's b602 project

When you make your V arms what you can do is thread the ends a little deeper and use two nuts one under the outer wheel ring and then the one on top so you don't have to try to make the nub the wheel ring sits on.

Re: Kevin's b602 project

Welcome to the forum Kevin. If you're only going to enjoy watching your mill spin you don't need to put the large gears in the gear box.

Re: Oil leaking

At first I thought maybe they somehow forgot to put the oil collector in place. But now you say it won't go in it sounds like they didn't forget they just didn't CARE.

Re: Oil leaking

My advice is bring it back to the "PROFESSIONAL" and tell him you want it fixed right.

Wheel Arms

I need the wheel arms for a model 1905 Fairbanks Morse 10ft or one so I can try to make the rest. Not sure if the 1893 model or newer are the same. Thanks Dan!!

Re: Workstands

Really love that Eli Mill you have Burt. I was recently informed there's a Aermoter power mill out in Western NY still on the tower. Hoping to get a look at it this summer.

Re: Newbie Windmill Roadtrip

Welcome to the forum Michael, here in NY we have a covered bridge that is the oldest bridge in the U.S. and the longest covered bridge in the world. I love old Bridges too.
