Re: Windmill parts - delivery to the 2024 Trade Fair
I am looking for a Aermotor 27’ or 33’ 3 legged tower for a 10’ Aermotor mill. It needs to have spent its life west of the Mississippi. (Fussy I know but it needs to match my line). Factory Aermotor tower only.
Thanks Justin.
Msg on here or call/text me 715-553-1346.

If you need V rods or braces I make them new. 10' ones are super hard to find so I started making them. They are hot dipped galvanized.

Depends on what part of the country you're in for white oak. That's all I use for platforms. I have it sawn at a local sawmill to the width I need and its half price of going to town to buy pine. Come up to Wi and i'll get you set up with all the white oak you could ever haul home.

Re: remove aermotor wheel
Welcome to the forum. You have an 8’ Aermotor A702 windmill. The prefix A in the part number signifies the size. X-6ft A-8ft B-10ft and so on. To remove the wheel you unbolt it from the spokes and then unscrew the spokes from the hub. The hub does not come off the shaft easily. You have to disassemb...

Re: What am I doing wrong?
You have a 702 gearbox with 602 big gears in it. I've had a few mills make that noise and it's typically due to the fact that one set of gears is new or been replaced, and the other set has different wear. You probably don't notice or see the wear on the gear set you have, until you'd lay it over a ...

I’ve got one of those quarts of oil. Mine doesn’t say what weight it is. It’s never been opened.
