I am looking for a brake for my Aermotor A402RA. Mine broke, I may be able to have welded but would prefer to find an unbroken one. Thanks.

Update: I was able to find all of the pieces to the broken brake... so worst case scenario I may be able to have the part welded back together. But would prefer to find another one.

It's possible. I went up this morning and found a couple things. There is some slop around the pin that holds the bottom of the tail, there is some slop in the rivet that holds the cast bracket onto the tail bottom rail. I noticed my Aermotor A402RA tail was wagging in the breeze yesterday while the sail was stationary. I don't remember exactly which bearings and washers I bought but I got them from here, you'll just need to take some measurements of the mast shaft diameter.

Replaced the pump rod this afternoon with a 12-14" rod and all is good.

Altho mine is not outside and does not actually spin, things just didn't fit right and seemed way too close there. I think it would work correctly if one remembered to lube ...
