Today I took the arm off the two sail sections it was tying together. There is only about 1/2 inch of threads left.
Me thinks that may not be enough. Not good.

Re: New member Port Hope, Ontario
Paul I am guessing it is better if you heat the stretching part as opposed to the shrinking?
Have you tried both ways to see which way worked better?
Thanks.

Hi Paul,
If I can't find arms for my Beatty I will have to make 5 of them.
Did you use a conduit bender?

Re: pipe Raymond
I revisited the auction site and there were 23 photos taken of the mill that I did not see at first.. It looks 100% like my Monitor L. Pat D Jan 1918. I noticed they have installed fittings on the grease cup covers to make it easy to refill with a gun. The tower is not perfect, looks like they bent ...

pipe Raymond
There is an online auction coming up in April. They list a pipe Raymond complete with tower.

Re: Trade Fair
I had no trouble booking in Pipestone today. Booked a room at the OYO as you can cancel right up to the day before. You pay when you check in.
This suits me fine as in my situation things can change at any time.
Will be composing a list of parts that I need later on.

Re: 2024 Trade fair
When can we expect the trade fair sign up packages to be sent out? I have been thinking about attending. Last was 2019
Plan to drive by myself, about 1100 miles. Sounds crazy but I have my own reasons for doing this.
