Seems like I've been looking forever, but am in need of a hub for a Flint & Walling Zenith 37 with a 10 foot wheel. It has six spokes, not 5 like the 8 footer. I have the motor all ready to go with a new shaft but am fighting a busted up hub. Any leads would also be much appreciated!

Re: F&W Star 37
I had the same problem with my hub on a 10 ft. star 37. Under the bell, the brake portion of the hub, there is a slotted ring that screws into the snout of the gearbox. A tab secured by a short bolt holds that ring in place. the bolt ,tab, and ring had to be unscrewed before the shaft could be ...

Re: Goold Shapley & Muir Power Mill
Give that scrap guy my number if he's ever up in the Pacific NW! Those are beauties, what fun to get a power mill going. Any idea what you'll drive with them? Raz

Aermotor spokes, what does "timeable" mean?
I need to buy some spokes for rebuilding an Aermotor 6 ft 702. I see "timeable" spokes offered and have no idea what that means. Are there two types of spokes for this mill? My hub has the threaded sockets for the spokes. Thanks for any info.

Re: Windmill Hunting Blind
Oh heck yeah, strap a back scratcher on the pump rod and let it scratch your back all day while you wait for deer! Or dunk your tea bags for you...... Or put a bellows on it to blow through deer calls... Could possibly be the greatest deer stand ever.

Re: A few unknowns p.2
Thanks Paul. Yes they do wrap around the edge of the blade. So that's an Aermotor only feature?

Stover! Thanks, Bob, I don't think I've seen one of those up in this area. (Pacific NW)

Re: A few unknowns p.2
I also got an Aermotor 702 gearbox, so I believe the full wheel is Aermotor 6 foot. I didn't get any spokes though, so I'm not sure.

Re: A few unknowns...
Thanks Bob! I got a nice dempster 12a gearbox and tail, so now I know which vanes belong with them.
