Vintage Windmill and Wind Generator Forum

Thanks for everyone's input. It is a H/A Baker direct stroke and the person who climbed up said there were no zerk fittings for the turntable. They did find fittings other places and put grease in them. I have no close pictures because they forgot to take their phone up.

I have read many posts, but being new to the forum I don't know the actual names of the parts and I'm having trouble seeing if this has been answered in the past.
When my windmill swivels at the top of the tower towards the wind, it makes an erie sound. Is there a way to lubricate this area without ...

Thank you for the information. I am also in Ohio. Is there any where to find what kind on maintenance it needs? The windmill has not had anything done for over years as my dad was very sick before his death.

I inherited this windmill and know nothing about it. Anything would be great!
