Re: Disassembly and rehoming

Is that a fiberglass helmet? Yes it is fiberglass. The entire head is 802 model through and through. Even the tower is 802 - universal steps, oversize sae hex hardware and 1.5" platform. Refer to Macdabs post in July. Removal would be complicated somewhat by the non existence of a brake band. ...

Re: Windmill Tower Punch

Cost is about $150. 20231128_163433.jpg We have made towers. When handling 20 foot pieces of steel, we drill all the tower holes. But we make patterns to speed up the process so that way we are only doing layout once. Once we have a pattern, we clamp it to a new piece to drill the holes. Drill press...

Re: Windmill Tower Punch

There is a factor that comes into consideration that was not addressed. Back in the day, there was corner tower angle that was up to 3 by 1/8 inch size but not anymore. The largest 1/8 inch angle is now 2 inch. Of course, there is not 2 1/4 inch angle that aermotor used for 6 and 8 foot mills. This ...

Re: B602

Late in the post but here goes: Earliest 602 case with flat bottom and bottom drain plug (couldnt pick it up in a pic to be sure tho). The mast pipe was 661 with the flat heavy washer turntable. The cupped turntable pipe was 661 1/2. Aermotor never sold either turntable as a separate part but after ...

Re: X702

If you are tight on room for a brake handle, find one of those pull out cranks. It would be easier to use even tho you like to build stuff. Proper placement is one of the two corner angles on the opposite side of the tower from the furl lever. This keeps it out of the way of the fan and pump rod. Go...

Re: When in Nebraska

Nebraska is matter of fact with a tourist slogan of "Nebraska. Honestly, it is not for everyone!" ranks right up there with me! Ranking in the last 5 states for tourist destinations keeps all the riff raff out... RP, double check your NE list and make sure these are on there: Cusn Eddyz ca...

With a 15 degree bend in falling 3', I think you should first assess how worn it is?

Wayne
There is a wireless IP service that has towers that ring around Denver. They are not identical but I think the one you are thinking of has a large wooden platform with railing that has a windmill and multiple microwave dishes?
