I'm in Midlothian and have a Baker WB and a WC on stub towers in my shop. I'm no expert, but am happy to share what 've learned so far. Private Message me if you'd like to check them out.

I also have a Challenge 27 I'm trying to disassemble. Is there a trick to getting the two small gears off the main shaft?
Specifically the gear closer to the hub, the one further away I can get to slide on the shaft, one closer to the hub won't budge.

Sorry, it's a WC, not WB as I stated....was posting on both Sale and Want boards at the same time, sorry for the confusion, and thanks for the clarification on the other gear box.

Have two Monitor gearbox that I can send to the trade fair if anyone's interested?

The WB is 5 bladed and is in very good shape internally, but will need a new main shaft bushing.

Not sure exactly what the other is, but think it's a 6 bladed Monitor and seems to be in decent shape. Not stuck.

I'm looking for a rebuildable, or preferably working, Monitor WB gearbox that could be picked up at the trade fair. Also need some of the pull out mechanism.

Ok, now I see, thank you. I have the collar on upside down. I am missing the second flat bar, with the bend in it, that is attached to the collar. Since it's missing, I am not sure what it does?
