I finished the second 14ft Ideal Power mill, it's now also in the barn with the other one. This one was manufactured in 1897, it has seven spokes and has brass bearings. No I don't know much about them. I think they sold the American made Challenge Dandy. That tail is the only thing I have found from them.

I did some work on somebodies windmill and found this way back in the bush, it was partially buried in the dirt. I was surprised when we got it out that it wasn't all rotted on the bottom. Got it home and fixed it up, it's going to be a wall hanger. It's off of at least a 12 footer maybe even a 14 ...

Yes they also have those off-center washers to tighten the wires, the wheel is also similar.

I got the single pitman Steel King from New Brunswick all together and up in the barn. I also reproduced a double pitman Steel King from Paul's (wind-fab) original. Paul got all the parts recast and I machined them and put it together. It ended up being a lot of work and quite costly. It has the 9 ...
