3/8 carriage bolt, you can get them at the hardware stores

Bob, the ridge on mine is 7 3/8 X 11 5/8 inches so different size. I'm in the process of making one.

Thanks for the info Terry. So does yours have the notches on the side of the case or are the cases a little different also?
If you have your mill handy, could you please measure the length of the weight bar? I have 3/4 of it but someone cut the end off when they stole the horse when it was laying ...
