A little more progress on the 15ft power mill. I ended up repairing the tail, it was really rough. I had to totally dismantle it and put it through the roller to straighten it out, it also needed some patches. I also made two new tail bone and top hinges. Hi everyone, I visited the Huron County museum last weekend, there are 3 windmills displayed there. One is a 14ft New Ideal, made buy Goold Shapley & Muir. Anyone know what the other two are? The wooden one kind of looks like a Halladay Standard.

No harvest yet, not till October, severe drought here this year, hardly any rain all summer. The driest I have seen it since I've been living here.
