Well , i finally "won " an auction , A602 on a Aermotor 3 legged tower , prefer 3 vs 4 legged , just because they are odd .
$110 dollars , right price , now just need the time to drive to Waco to pick up.

very complete 100 year old Flint & Walling , every rotating shaft has wooden bearings , Kenneth did a beautiful restoration on his and documated the process well , I followed his advice ,
photos show well worn origional wood next to replacement bearing & pitman arm bolt .

Windy , you are right . You did talk me through my Dempster experiences . Thank you . Most other brands have more good points than bad so no more Dempster.
This open gear F&W is incredible with the wooden bearings but simple to understand

It is hard for me to say anything nice about Dempster windmills , but , the pivot bearing system is a very good design
just my opinion, and i'm sticking to it .
