No its cast. It sure is bold like a part number. I was wondering if it was the year as well, but I've never seen that cast in with part number quality besides the patent dates on the oil bath aermotors. So i suppose its possible if the pattern maker wanted it or was directed to do that ...

Dan yes, it has A and something after the A, but 95 a safe distance before the A in the middle of the main frame.

The number 95 is the main frame of Bell Hub at the wind power center.

Is it leaking enough to even worry about? An aermotor isn't exactly sealed anywhere as you know. Maybe see if its enough to run down a spoke.

Remember epoxies don't like UV, I think JB weld probably has the same issue? May want to paint over the JB weld if you go that route. Its probably leaking around the key.
