Re: Wincharger 6V “Rebuild kit”

I think it’s a great idea. I could list you as a supplier on Wincharger.com. Covering every Wincharger model would be a daunting task since they made over 100 different models, around 20 of those being 6V machines. I’d start with the early models, 36-39 which were Delco Remy. After 1939, they switc...

Re: Wincharger 12V model

Josh.I don't know if you aware or not. I was surfing the internet several years ago and ran across a web site of a company making wind charger blades. As I remember he had a VERY large collection of original NOS blades for patterns and a machine he could put them in and it would copy them exactly. ...

Re: Setting up an A902 on a 40FT tower for a friend

Those "902's" are the new Ball Bearing models American West is marketing. Clever concept with the removable assembly to service them but I'm not fully sold on the sealed roller bearings personally. Time will tell how they hold up.. Todd, i am the same with the design. If the sealed bearin...

Re: Setting up an A902 on a 40FT tower for a friend

Hardly an American West tower too. Have run across a similar vane. The only thing other than the motor that might be American West is the spokes. Guess not all mutations happen south of the border any more Ron Ron, tower is made by the mennonite’s. They did a nice job on it. I am wondering if they ...

The 902 gearbox you can see the bolt in Main Frame that you can remove with three bolts. Tail sheet metal looks like it could be mennonite done also. No pictures of the front of the hub but the design is different.

Re: Setting up an A902 on a 40FT tower for a friend

Josh, we know you mean 702. Ron, the last few Aermotor wheels I made, I used modified Dempster clips. Looks a lot like that one. Peter, that is not a hot dipped wheel. I though factory wheels were. It does say A902 on the side of the case actually. It apparently is a american west modified 702. Dif...
