Can someone post or send me a picture of Waupun clips, the kind the original Waupun Vaneless had before the Raymond and Pipe Raymond? I am suspicious they were the same as the Bobtail Raymond but am not sure? I could use any original Waupun iron work parts someone wants to share but especially wheel ...

Dan. I got the 1899 John Deere catalog and they sold Iron Turbine windmills though Deere and Company so I am going to guess Massey did the same and stenciled the vane like any other dealer or distributor?

I saw a new old stock single blade Wincharger prop and it was varnished. I have no idea what kind of varnish they would have used for something outside in the 1930s or 40s?

Did the Butler Jr. use the same wheel spoke spider for both the wood and metal wheel? I got a 1930s part list for the thing that was not in production then, it only shows one wheel spider with the scallops between spokes like on a wood spoked wheel. I suppose they could have bolted metal spokes on ...

You are exactly right Wayne, however, most of these things have financial limitations, unless you want the " Minister of Finance " of the house to give you an attitude adjustment with a frying pan!
