I took some more pictures of the tower, it is hot dipped galvanized and I don’t see any evidence of it being modified or put together wrong, it looks like it is original to me.

Thanks for your reply and I appreciate the information.
I wasn’t thinking about a windmill when I bought the tower but finding the badge and stamped steel made me curious. I have always had a love of windmills.
