Vintage Windmill and Wind Generator Forum

Do you have any pics of how this works and hooks to the tower? I'm trying to get mine going and have no idea how it looks or how it keeps from getting wrapped into the pump down-shaft

Woodmanse Tower bolts, I'm needing the "J-bolts" for the top of the tower bearing platform, which are maybe 3" long with the square bolt head bent at a 90* angle, and also am needing the 6-1/2" long square head bolts that hold the lower mast/shaft in place. Thanks for any help or info!

I'm new to windmills, but am trying to set up and old 8' Woodmanse. The tower is laying on the ground, the head and fan are off and apart, do I build out the wheel-spokes/vanes while the head and stem are off the tower, or put the head/stem onto the tower, then add the wheel-spokes and
vanes? Also ...
