There is a catalog of Rex Mills. It's over 100 pages with pictures. It's at the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum at Canyon, Texas. This is known as catalog 17. I have never experimented on that idea. This may be one of those things that you just trial and error thing. Thanks! My thoughts are this.....I believe they made a grease that had a point of getting really soft as the shaft turned, thus lubricating. Dempster had a brass pin that rode on a shaft up to the grease cup that transfered a little heat to melt the grease. I don't know of a grease that has a low me...

Not exactly. All through the lifetime of the 602, they made improvements, all at different times. I guess you could research all the patent numbers and see which one it pertains to. There's a whole bunch of them on the case you saw I'm sure.

Does that have the twisted wire oilers? Is that a Dandy? Can you post a shot of the inside of the reservoir?
