yes id did find a spring that will work. I the "supply " of bits and pieces we all tend to collect i found a spring the exact diameter and similar in strength to the rusted original.

Does anyone know the rate of the compression spring on the hub brake on an Aermotor A702? 15/16 diameter X 1.5 inches long, flat end to sit in a groove in the adjusting nut. the band has a shaft that is open by a spring, anyone know where I can purchase just the spring > Mike Blahnik New Braunfels TX

Got Aermotor A 702 dissembled this morning !
Windy stated to another newbie that most all Aermotor vane pin's are worn & the case is also worn !
