So theres no mechanical difference between a 12 and a 12A?

A near perfect set of sails and a vane for a Dempster 12A came along so now i feel i should find a mill to put them on. My question is, how do i identify a 12A? What is the difference between a 12 and a 12A?

Ive wondeered about that with mine. I havent built a power ring yet so i havent had mine up to speed yet. Think ill just leave it on a stub tower for now. Thats a lot to ask of the brake. Although its a way better brake than the wincharger. Super cool Mike
