Jacobs short case tower top mounting parts SOLD
I have the mounting pieces to install a short case Jacobs on a 4 leg tower. The pieces look like the tower might have been pulled over and some damage was done to the castings, but they were repaired and should work fine. The collector rings on the saddle tube have a crack in 2 of the 3 rings, but t...

Re: Wind generators for sale--1800 Jacobs
I do have mounting pieces to put a short case Jacobs on a 4 leg tower. The lower tower casting has a corner broken off. The top tower castning hand the weatherproof ring had been damaged and were welded or brazed. Two to the 3 collector rings have a crack, which shouldn't effect use if you use the l...

Re: Wind generators for sale--1800 Jacobs
I might have an extra mounting hardware for a 4 leg tower. I'll let you know if I find it. If I remember right it came off of a tower that was pulled over and some damage to the casting resulted.

Wind Power Light Co. model 35
Here's my Wind Power 2500 watt 32 volt generator when I first brought it home back in the 1970s. I must have pictures of it in operation around somewhere, too. https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/r190/WisJim/0/02656b3c-f34c-44f1-8a3b-0c2e00bb3cf5-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bo...

I'm new to the forum but not to wind power. We got our first wind generator back in the 1970s when we were planning an off grid homestead in Wisconsin and found a 1935 vintage WindPower 2500 watt generator at an estate sale, and bought it and its original 55 foot tower. We installed it and used it a...
