Hi all, here are a couple of pics of my Pepper mill I finished restoring. The wheel and tail are new material.
It's still missing the brake lever and shoe.

Josh, I don't think anything is missing. That early style Beatty with the spring wasn't made for very long, it probably didn't do the job too well so they switched to the more common style with the oil reservoirs.

Hi Josh, a lot of the time the hub is also cracked where the pipe screws in. water gets in there and freezes.
