If you you would have drilled some divots in it first it wouldn’t have come out. Or asked me when we were on the phone and I would have told you that. But I guess some have to learn the hard way.

The nut was for tightening up the spring and was unnecessary it didn’t really do much. It was suppose to help give a little more pressure. The New Aermotor band has the slot in it because there parts wouldn’t fit if they just put the 2 holes in like normal.

The wheels fit the same and are interchangeable. The older wheels had a angle iron looking clip and the newer ones had tin clips with tabs that went through slots in the blades and were folded over. Bob, I’ve got some info and I have 2 heads hear. The W gearbox is completely different then the S & M. The hub is the same or similar to the S but that’s it.
