Ball Bearings

Post by tom b »

Can someone (Windy) confirm a Monitor WC takes 5/8" ball bearings. Been quite a while since I messed with these armor clad "beauties". Thanks, Tom

Yes 5/8" is what they use. Originally they used the balls and alternated with spacers. When I rebuild WC's I use all ball bearing (its easier than making the spacers)

I cut spacers from a broken Aermotor spoke. Somewhere around 1/2 in or so. Maybe 3/4.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number.
