The other day I pressed out this shaft from a A-702 hub.
As I was pressing, the further i went, the easier it got.
Then the shaft fell through hub. After looking, this is what I found.
The end of the shaft as well as the hub bore measures 1.250
Then I was looking closer, and noticed someone had repaired
three of the spoke mounting holes. Looks like they were drilled and
tapped and a set screw welded in and then the set screw drilled and tapped.
The hub apparently froze and broke out the oil collector plug access hole.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Just curious.
