Those patent dates appear to be valid Corcoran patents.

My understanding is that the mill was brought in from a ranch in New Mexico. This begs the question on how a mill built in New Jersey ended up in New Mexico, especially with all the windmill manufacturers located in the mid-west being much closer (thus less freight costs).

Also, the Bronson windmill in Fairfield, CT has been restored and is on the National Register of Historical Places. The Corcoran windmill enclosed tower in Rumsom, NJ has been restored but the mill itself is missing. I have an original advertising piece showing Teddy Roosevelt's home on Oyster Bay, L.I. I'll try to scan and post a copy.

I was sent pics of what is supposed to be a Corcoran mill that a guy owns and on the main frame was pat. June4 September24 1889

O.k. guys i only have a smart phone but I'm a dummy when it comes to tec.i know how to send pics from my phone to other phones and emails but that's it.when i try to send to this forum it doesn't work.it's probably me

Dan, try sending photos from your phone to your computer, then attached to this site.
I had to learn this the hard way, but it worked.

You say you can send photos between phones. Maybe send the photos to Jim's phone and he can post them.
