18' Challenge 27 @ auction

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

Wow, what a collection of some really neat machinery.

Man, I could check again on what day the windmills sell. Despite what Gregg was told, the website makes it look like they sell Friday. That would be a tough deal to show up Sat if they sell in Friday.
Thanks,
Ed

I was looking at the sell bill on it is what I call a sidewinder hay rake. I've always thought I needed one of them. Neat piece of machinery!

Looks to be a nice auction. If it was a little closer I might go 4 1/2 hour drive one way is a little too far.

If you go to the auction, bring warm clothes. Saturday morning is supposed to be 30 degrees, wind chill in the 20's. High around 50.

I live not far from Sigourney. I might go, just to look...no $$ to bid, sadly. Someday, my mill will come.... ;)
