It could be someone else made the pumps and put there name on it. Woodmanse made windmills for others with there name on them so maybe there is a tie in there.

Windy you listed a lot of jobbers selling windmills. I've often thought of getting a list started of all the Names people have found on Vanes and stenciled on the legs from around the country that dealt in windmills. I have a tower I built from two Aermotor towers. On one I found the name Otto Miller Egan S. D. on a another piece I found Glauson Hadley Minn. On the map they are about 30 miles from each other on the same highway. Hadley is due east of Egan. Don't know if they were sellers or farmers who had bought the windmills. I think it would be interesting to know who sold and who might have bought windmills across the country.

Wayne, a good start is buying the "green book". It's a wealth of information, on just that topic.

Must be out of print. Chris Gillis at the Windmiller's Gazette doesn't have it listed on his book store page. I had no idea it was selling for those kind of prices. Sure glad I bought mine back in 2000 at Lubbock.

Ok. They used to stencil the customer of delivery on the outer tower part when bundled. If the paper tag came off during shipping, the delivery address would still be on it. I've seen them anywhere on the tower. Yes, not on it all the time though. I've even seen it on the tailsheet too. So it appeared at least twice sometimes.
