I noted an Aermotor pump for sale on eBay in Onaga, Kansas. Don’t see many of those, but it is too $ for me.

I'm not so sure the entire top is Aermotor. Much different patina, and the fit doesn't look right. I have a Fairbury pump and the top bolts on like that.

I went to ebay and looked at the additional pictures. Although the patina is different from the top to the pump body, it is Aermotor. The Aermotor part numbers are P1321 Handle, P1322 Fulcrum & P1398 Top. These are for 8 inch stroke models 350, 351 & 355. In 1935 these models sold for $12, $13 and $12.25.

So I guess someone pieced together two different pumps but they are all Aermotor.

Nice looking pump but a little too rich for me. Seller is within a nice drive of couple three hours.

I guess mine with part num for handle of P975 would be older. It also has P970 on the bowl between Aermotor Co and Chicago. Mines not that pretty but it will be fine for this farm and I think I got a real bargain at $100.

Wayne, I do not see p970 or p975 in my 1935 or 1963 catalogs. Would be curious how old yours is. Does it look the same?

Here is my pump. The handle is short has a piece broke off. The other picture is my Mama under the Aermotor Windmill that was on the farm where I was born. I have a 602 my dream is to make an old wooden tower put the 602 on it and have the pump under it. Thats why I really wanted and Aermotor pump. This one has some farm repairs on it like my Dad might have done. So it's really perfect for the Rogers farm!
