My windmill is up

Finished my spinner on Friday with the help of my two sons. Glad to be finished but no wind for 2 days but today it went around. Thanks to all the people that helped on this forum especially Ivan in Wausau.

Looks nice!
I will tell you something that will make your life easier on the next one. The nuts go on the outside of the tower. That way the bolt ends don't run into each other. That is all.

Congratulations! You're going to enjoy your mill everyday for many years to come. One of the first things i do in the morning is look out the window to make sure the mills made it thru the night.. Lol

I did just find another complete mill taken down years ago. It is local and am trying to aquire it. Thanks for the compliments. Bill

I set in my chair looking at my Hummer drinking my first cup of coffee and I know how fast the wind is blowing by watching how fast my Hummer is turning.
