I was able to get all the letters traced out on the tail minus the i in ILL and the F in Freeport. I guessed on the I and F but they turned out nice. Interesting how mine spells out engine and all other smaller ones just say ENG.

Tower went together nicely. I still need to put the anchor posts on and drill my bell bottom piers. The top tower section was a little hard the install. With a few straps and clamp I was able to get all 16 1/2 bolts in it.

It is really coming together nicely. I have a vane sheet and tailbone off of a large Samson. I was wondering if your tail bone has any numbers stenciled on it.

Gears coated with DFL coating (Gray) and non friction surfaces coated with oil wicking coating(Silver).
Jake,
For one of the uninformed, would you mind giving a short tutorial on the two coatings? Appears to be something for which I might have an interest.

Thanks in advance,
Jim

I didn’t see any number on my tailbone.
