I discovered today that i didn't post my Babbitt experience. To remove the grease and oil from my Crosshead before paint we de gas the part at 600 degrees. well doing so I found out that my crosshead was full of babbitt.

One positive. Ill make some cool wall art from the babbitt.

The plan is correct as far as I can see. And I haven’t pored it yet.

Finishing up my brake assembly. Does anyone need the brake adhesive in the picture. It’s full and not cheap. I used about an 1/8 inch of it.

I had a wonderful time visiting a new friend this weekend. And I also picked up a lot of new goodies for my Samson! The complete factory pulled and pump rod assembly! All 17 feet of it.
