I posted on another thread that i put it off after reviewing my MRI and consulting with the sawbones. An injection into the exact disc, special meds, and PT should do the job. If not, surgery will be on the menu. Actually, my back is in surprisingly good condition, considering I'm an old fart. I've always tried to lift with my legs, not my back. Guess it helped. Thanks!

Indeed- I hopped on this morning just to get an update on WindyBob. Got my fingers crossed that this works for you and you can avoid the surgery. It's tough to sit still when you feel like you could be doing something. Just remember that rest is work.

Thanks guys. Getting some relief, but have a ways to go. At least I can be up for more than 2 minutes now.

I can even sit at my computer, and buy and sell stocks. That's always a blast. :)
