Alamo Iron Works

Post by Wayne »

While in Burhburnett at my sisters funeral I went down to where they have some things from the oil fields of old. Found this Alamo Iron Works of San Antonio pump. Looks like the little brother of one posted in a thread that I can't find

They would have to be two Windy. One for me and one for you. I love old iron that has moving working parts and one of these has all that. I'll keep looking you never know what might show up.

For me? The less the better.... I got into a fight with a stingy friend of mine years ago, over a penny. Thats how copper wire was invented.

For me I might pay a premium because I really would like to have one. As for everything it's how bad the buyer wants it and bad the seller wants to sale it.

That is a start. I'm sure he has an idea how much he needs for it. To me the value is how bad you want it. Some things we just can't live without.

If it's all complete, might start at a hundred bucks. I think scrap iron is like 75 a ton. That's not much incentive to sell.
