Any suggestions how to fix my mistake today? I broke the round rod under the outside of the snout that brake lever attaches too. I knew to be careful...urgghh!!!
I guess it was cast. Thanks.

Drill and weld one, or drill tap and screw one in. Make sure it's oil tight, I think that passage for it may go thru the inside of the snout. Or maybe not.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number.

I think it's just 1/2 inch round stock. The bolt is a good idea.

Getting it drilled and tapped straight will be an interesting challenge.

Hey if you tap it and screw one in, and it's crooked, don't sweat. Those are bent all the time, and I just straighten them with a hammer.
