Tower Markings

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Name and date correspond to a Centennial improved model by Elgin Wind Power and Pump. 1890-1910
Gilbert Snow number 498584

Later that year Snow was issued 508852 for the Elgin Mogul

I would have guessed Challenge also. The Snow theory is interesting. Maybe!

Mr barker that tower is made by snow manufacturing.the mill that went on it was a Decorah windmill.they are pretty rare.There's a tower just like it up here in N Y. Still trying to locate the mill.
