What is it - ZERO Oil?

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Post by Gregg »

Can anybody tell me what this windmill is? The case has ZERO OIL and Patent applied cast into it, the hubs are 3650 & 3651?

Thanks,
Gregg

Looks like a Challenge to me too. I have had a lot of Challenge mills But never one with Zero Oil
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe it is telling you not to be oiling the outside of the hub right there? If you oiled there it would be a catch spot for dirt to build up maybe is there thought.

I don't know what Zero actually means but it is brand name that infers that the oil will flow at Zero degrees.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
