We have turned the corner! Power back on after 7 days, fire containment up and the winds are down.
Robin should be home tonight to a house that smells like an ashtray in a poolhall. But I know she will be delighted to find her home untouched.
Just for prospective, 76,825 acres or around 120 square miles burned. 282 structures destroyed. No loss of life thanks to 5,245 brave firefighters.
At one time there was 186,000 evacuees as the winds hit 102 mph pushing the fire.
The number of kind acts and well wishes from guys like you is countless!
Thanks for your prayers, we have so much to be grateful for starting with our friends.
Kevin
PS: The computer nerds did an overlay of the fire map on cities like Chicago to help gauge the size. What you don’t see is the left side is about 125 feet MSL and the right is 4,000 MSL and it is up and down all the way.

Re: Kevin Moore and California Wildfire Update
Kevin, glad to hear things are well with you. I would have been afraid to go to sleep the way they talked about the winds driving the fires. Our hearts go out to those that lost everything.
