Over the years various members of the forum (both this incarnation and Brad's) have opined that Rustoleum Hammered Metal spray on coating was good for the "aged galvo" look. One fellow suggested using it over the regular cold galvo stuff for the best results.
Was prowling Amazon.com in the wee hours of this morning and found out that it is now available in 15 different colors ranging from black to white. Is it "hammered silver" or "hammered gray" that is getting all the favorable comments?
I think I will pass on the "Hammered Metal Finish Oatmeal" color.

Re: rustoleum hammered spray on coatings
They didn't lie you don't get batteries and you don't need them. When I bought my cans they only had the one color. I'd call it gray. I think the silver would be to shinny unless that's the look you want.
