Trying.

Also on another note...after 53 years of 2 packs a day, my smoking days seem to be over. Been planning and preparing for months. Having the virus helped me decide it was time.

Good luck!! I had bigtime foot surgery 12/5, and decided to end my 40 year Copenhagen habit at the same time. Wasn't too bad when I was on Percocet, the last couple of weeks have kinda sucked though.
Thanks,
Ed

Windybob & Ed, good luck to you both, overall it will take some serious dedication to kick the habits but down the road I think you will be glad you stuck it out. I have 3 friends that went cold turkey, 2 struggled but made it. The 3rd guy just never looked back, although he seems to chew a lot of gum but I have noticed he is buying less gum these days.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Windy, good luck with your quiting smoking.
I quit cold turkey after 20 years of 2 packs a day.
I have been quit for about 20 years now. It will get easier
As time goes on. My doctor told me after I quit, if I get the urge,
Drink water and take deep breaths. It worked for me and I am sure
It will for you. I know one thing, food sure tastes better after I quit.
