Tail holes

Post by Rambus »

On our A602 tail arm where the spring hooks I see several holes I assume it's for some type of adjustment.
Probably a dumb question but I am learning more all the time from this forum and love all the knowledge passed down.
Thanks everyone
Have a better New Year

Yes they are. The way we set tension, is to install the spring to where the tail is open, and the spring is just tight enough so it doesn't fall off. That will enable the wheel to furl early in the wind.
The tighter the spring, the more wind it takes for the mill to furl out of the wind.
