Don Matthews worked for Monitor ( Baker Mfg Co) back in the day. When they sold their parts division he made a deal with them, and got all the molds and patterns etc. Don was a super nice guy. He passed a few years ago, and his son in law Bob does it now. Don's middle name was Verdun.
Or at least that's what I know. If it's changed in the last few years, I didn't know.
