Breaking mechanism

Do any one know how the breaking cable is suppose to be installed on a Heller Aller model 6 run in oil windmill? This is how we have it attached. Please advise on the correct placement. Thanks

There are pulleys on / in the windmill head for a chain to go around, so the chain comes out the bottom of the neckpipe. Add a swivel to that to allow the head to rotate on its axis without binding up on the cable going down to the control handle on the leg.

Hey what is that thing I have circled? I have a couple of those but never knew what they were! Anyone?
