Re: zenith
There is a Ballenger Texas NE of San Angelo. Those might have been Mike Werst of the Austin area. He is a Wind Generator guru.
Re: zenith
I used to work with a Ballinger and his father collected old wind generators in the eastern Iowa Quad Cities area. I sent him a message to see if he recognizes the pictures.

Steve just confirmed that it was his dads display at the Midwest Old Threshers Show in Mount Pleasant Iowa. And that he was good friends with Mike Werst. Said his father passed away this last fall.

Howdy, yes David Ballinger passed away in Nov. He was the guru for Wincharger 6V machines. There will be a write up on him in the Spring Windmillers' Gazette.
