Winpower saved from the scrap

Post by Mike Hage »

went to get a 35 foot wincharger tower that was going to the junk this weekend. On the way back my friend gave me his dempster 14, and bought this winpower with the blades for 150 bucks. All in one trip!

this is what I've got going so far. Still have to varnish up the blades and build a power ring. Plus I dropped the motor while trying to put it up there and scrunched the nose. Oops. And I don't know if I'm the only one this happens to but every time I put up a wind machine the wind, which has been howling for weeks, just dissappears completely. Go figure

Wind doesn't disappear just the opposite. Let me climb up on a tower calm at the bottom gust at the top. Pr start a brush pile.
