Pictures WILL appear. :D
Bob - Thanks for your thoughts - if you do have pictures they would be most appreciated. I have been led to believe by at least one on line parts supplier that very few parts for these types of mills are still available - if you can point me in the direction of parts suppliers it would be most helpful.

Thanks

You seem to be confirming my suspicion that a newer model mill might be our best bet. I know I can get one from Aeromotor in Texas for about $4000. Any thoughts on where else we should be looking ?

I don't think you can buy one from farther away. LOL There are new or rebuilt ones in various places around the country. I'm still waiting for guys to put up pictures here for you.

Bryon had a good idea about the newer head. I will send you a PM.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

Love the old open gear models but they do require more maintenance. I personally would restore that one

I have one that I repaired in 1990, still in good repair, just rebuild and make sure it has a good new brake, RA Aermotor. I believe Dan Benjamin sold me a new brake...my pictures are videos, are I would post...
