Stopped in Ames OK yesterday.
Great visit with Windy Bob, the steak was perfectly done !
If you EVER need any wind mill part, from any complete assembly to a specific nut and bolt , he has it.
It's amazing the mills he has amassed in 30 years of repair business ! He even has " only one is the US " mill .
He will even get his picture in the 2022 windmill calendar coming out later this year.
The GIANT 20ft windmill heads are massave, need a crane to move, but they are cool !
He is a most talanted craftsman so if you need a part repaired , he's the man.
All this sound like a commercial , I was that impressed .

That would be a great idea.publish a book with all the great windmill icons knowledge before it's lost . A few i know are Pat Hunt, Ivan block, and from what I hear Windy bob.and I'm sure there's more out there.sounds like a job for Chris gillis

Gotcha! I did learn something about fire ants. They don't like for you to pee on them. Don't know if it kills them or just makes them move.
